High school poem

Locked Door
A window broken, shards of glass all over the floor,
The door closed and locked, the wind blows icicles cold.
The wind blows bullets inside ones heart,
The loss of the hope to hear laughter from the other end
of the hall.
The sun's flames flash its light of hope
But the shadow of depression has gotten a hold of my love.
Darkness became my best friend.
If only I can open that door and clear the path.
The path to return the happiness the black butterflies taken
From me.
Its shadows haunt me to this day.
Why did my love have to go?
Shining light fades with the setting sun.
My heart fades along with the sun.
It becomes colder, then into numbness.
Comes the end of the day and the end of my life,
Leaving behind my heart and its key in your hands.
